Does anyone have a shedding dog even though they have allergies?
What kind of dog do you have and also is there any medications i can take so that i wont have any allergic reactions?
My family is planning to get a golden retriever this summer but i seem to be allergic. So all answers will help!

i’ve been mildly allergic to dogs all my life, but i can’t live without them! i’ve had a golden retriever and a corgi (which sheds a lot!), and i’ve been fine. golden retrievers are sweethearts, and if you’re not fine, you can always get an over-the-counter allergy pill (ask a pharmacist for a good one). if that’s too much trouble for you though, you may want to consider a different kind of dog. it doesn’t have to be hairless, just one that doesn’t shed (google non-shedding dogs). however, dogs that don’t shed need to be trimmed regularly, so that’s a negative.
