How can i get a Blue Healer and two Golden Retrievers to get along together?
I am house sitting while a friend of my moms is in mexico. They have two Golden Retrievers.We plan on staying at their house tell they get back in two weeks. So we brought my Blue Healer over so we wouldn’t have to drive back and forth to take care of her and them. So tonight is the first night here and the female dog and my female Blue Healer are not getting along and the male is getting along until the female comes around my Blue Healer what should i do ?
Cattle dogs tend to be very and selective and dominant. You need to be the leader of the pack,exercise them discipline them and monitor their behavior constantly. Goldens tend to be neurotic and high strung,so it may set your cattle dog into a fit to try to dominate and control the goldens. Let her know you have it under control,keep her on a lead and correct her every time she shows dominant behavior. Stay calm and dont take any crap from her.
