Cancer in Golden Retrievers?

My male Golden Retriever, who turned 10 this month has just lost a lot of weight within the last few months. We took him to the vet, where she was an ultrasound and found extensive tumors around his spleen and lymph nodes, so it was most likely lymphoma. The Veterinarian said the cancer had started recently, but aggressive and inoperable. He gave him three months. He has for all his life more than a little arthritis in addition he become healthy, and I'm for any advice from people who had sought to have this happen to them. Cancer is the number one killer of the Golden Retriever, but I have something on to hear anti-angiogenic drugs. Has anyone had found cancer in her Golden Retriever and a way to make the cancer go into remission by any form of medicine? Thank you!

Have your vet a biopsy to confirm the lymphoma? If not, I would ask, because a diagnosis of lymphoma can not be made without one. If a definitive diagnosis is made, you should see a veterinarian you consult with your more about the disease and chemotherapy – or request referral to an oncologist, If you are serious about aprons and / or your veterinarian administer uncomfortable. The chemotherapy has a long way in recent years, it is possible that lengthening Your dog's life (although survival after chemo years is ~ 1, I think), but there is always the chance that it is not you and your veterinarian, despite best efforts. Best luck.
