Are Golden Retrievers good with kids?
We are thinking of getting a dog in the next year or so. We have three kids, the youngest being two at the moment, the other two are at school.
We thought about getting a rescue dog but have decided that this would be too risky as the dogs background / mixed breed may make it’s temperament unpredictable. I would hate to have to take the dog back to the RSPCA as I think it would be unfair on the dog and the kids!
SO, we came to the conclusion that a Golden Retriever may be a nice family dog. We are in the countryside and a very active family….anyone trained a golden retriever pup ? How did they fit in with your family and any advice??

The idea pup to get, trained well they are very loving and will look after your children.They love the country side and long walks you can not go wrong.
