What a video / book should I get for raising a puppy?
I will be getting a Golden Retriever puppy in May, and I would like to know what should I get, that gives me the best all-round information about raising a dog from puppy to adulthood. I am a big fan of Cesar Millan, and I watch him all the time. The best I could find is the book "A Member of the Family: Cesar Millan's Guide to a Lifetime of compliance with Your Dog" Can anyone recommend this book or another pick for me?
There are many more and many better books on 'How to' your Dog. Although Cesar's maxims are sound, to suck his ways. IMHO, you should throw the whole idea to learn something about the dog section of Yahoo. It makes no sense.
