How do i persuade my parents to let me have another dog?
I have a 2 yr old golden retriever, bitch, she is spayed and is really friendly. I was looking on the internet and i saw a little dachshund x up for adoption from a rescue centre near where my nan lives. He looks perfect for our family and it says that he is friendly and gets on well with kids and other dogs. I would also like it so that my dog would have company when my family goes out during the day and she is left by herself for a couple of hours. However when i have asked for another dog in the past my parents have said no because they are alot of responsibility. When i saw this dog on the internet i fell in love with him and i would do anything to adopt him. How do i persuade my mum to let me have another dog. I want to show her that i am responsible and that i can look after another dog!

I always walk my dog and clean up after her! we barely ever go abroad so kennels wouldnt be a problem!
im 14 and love animals and in my opinion i think that you should say that what you do with your other dog you will do exactly the same with the other dog and youl help pay towards the bills! hope tghis helps!! x
