What are the chances of heart murmur grade 3 gone?
I took my 12 week old Golden Retriever to the vet on Saturday and she was in good health. On the following Tuesday, I took her to another vet for their shots through my work to get, and they discovered a grade 3 heart murmur. The vet said, it goes away for many puppies. How could the first vet not recognized it and what are the chances that it will go away?
Unfortunately, my vet said the higher is the quality of the sound, the more likely it is that it does not go away with age … She said the 1's and 2's a really good chance the puppy grows out of it, but not so much the music before, found know that my 10 weeks old Golden was to have a class 2 mumur at 7 weeks, so I know how you feel … He goes back for a checkup on Monday and we'll see if he still became of him. I have also been told that if they grow out of it, it is most likely due 5 months old. It's funny how you mention your first vet not notice the noise, two veterinarians listened to my puppy and said he sounded good, then the third vet listened to him and discovered the noise, and had it confirmed by another vet, right, and then … I'm not sure how they really miss, it amazed me too. I do not have to grow a percentage of puppies that the murmurs of her, I wish I was curious myself, but also the vets in our office did not know.
