Labrador & Golden Retrievers…. which one has the ’smart bump’ on top of their head???
i know one of the 2 has the so called ’smart bump’ on top of its head. My lab X golden retriever had this bump and im wondering which side it came from????
Also where does that theory comes from?? is it a kind of an ‘old wives tale’, or is it to do with breeding??
the fancy term in occipital protuberance. All dogs have them but they are more pronounced in some breeds. Goldens generally have larger ones than labs, although my poorly bred lab has a big one.
